Two REDspace apps have been nominated for Rockie Awards, celebrating excellence in television and digital content from around the world. Both apps have been recognized in the Interactive Content for Kids & Youth category.
REDspace partnered with Industrial Brothers, CBC Kids, The Jim Henson Company, and the Bell Fund to create Dotopedia and empower kids to explore the world using technology.
Nature Cat’s Great Outdoors, which the team worked on alongside Spiffy Pictures and PBS KID, inspires kids to get outside and learn with the app.
The Rockie Awards are Banff World Media Festival’s flagship program and one of the world’s largest competitions of its kind with participation from more than 40 countries annually.
Having our work recognized among the top digital experiences in the world is a huge honour. As is creating apps that are helping kids and youth learn and grow with the best partners we could ask for.
The winners will be announced during a ceremony at the festival on June 13, 2017. Congratulations to all other Rockie nominees!
